CBU is recruiting a scientific programmer

The Computational Biology Unit at the University of Bergen has a vacancy for a full-time scientific programmer, on a permanent position. The programmer will work closely with our research teams. The tasks will consist in developing, maintaining, and upgrading software solutions that implement novel methods in computational biology. The person hired will have the opportunity to work with -and learn from- a variety of computational fields, including stochastic chemical kinetics and protein modeling and simulations.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree that includes extensive training in programming,  have excellent programming skills in more than one programming language, preferably including C/C++ and Python.
