High-fidelity Biomolecular Modelling Group strives towards the ideal of faithful biomolecular dynamics simulations, in which the positions and movements of atoms match the reality as closely as is possible to measure with the most sensitive experimental methods of the day. The critical assessment of simulations against experiments is crucial, as it not only reveals the limits of applicability of our current models, but in the process provides the best available intuitive interpretation of these typically hard-to-interpret experimental data.
