The first CBU seminar of this year was held yesterday by Ruth Brenk, our new associate group leader.

Ruth is a Professor and the Head of research of the Department of Biomedicine.

The overall research goal of the Brenk group is to improve methods used for structure-based drug design and to apply these methods to design inhibitors for enzymes with biological relevance. A key point in their research is the interplay of theoretical and experimental methods.
